Do Pilots Have Their Own Bathroom
For smaller general aviation airplanes the pilot ussually just holds it until they can land.
Do pilots have their own bathroom. These nooks can only be accessed by climbing a hidden ladder and the private bedrooms have their own bathroom and occasionally a tv. Nowadays with hyper secure flights where the cockpit must be locked and sealed what happens if the pilot has to use the bathroom. For the rest the pilots use the same lavatory as the first class passengers.
How do pilots pee. No we don t flight deck is not big enough to fit one. Those bathrooms have showers no bath tubs and can only be used by the paying first class passengers.
Generally speaking no 18 wheelers do not have bathrooms. That means that truckers have to do their business just like any other driver at rest stops and truck stops. The only aircraft that to my knowledge has bathrooms is emirates airways airbus 380 in their first class suites.
Maybe this is a dumb question but it occurred to me on my flight today. As far as larger planes go most have a bathroom on board. The small sleeping area typically contains a lie flat.
We usually use the same bathroom as passengers. Most airplanes don t have bathrooms only toilets. If they are on a long cross country flight.
Some stops only have porta potties which are just as bad or worse than dirty bathrooms. Usually pilots can work in naps each numbering a couple hours but it depends on our route of flight where our refuelings are place along that route and where our weapons activity is polidor. The cabins are usually located behind the cockpit and above first class.
Depending on the plane. I was just on a 9 hour flight from europe in first class where i could see the cockpit door and it never once opened. Unfortunately truck stops don t always have the most sanitary bathrooms.
Pilots have resting cabins where they can sleep on long haul flights. As for toilets others have already answered crew uses the same as passengers.
